Well, today's the big day in Toronto. There's a pro-coalition rally at City Hall at noon and a pro-Harper rally at Queen's Park today. Whichever side can fill their large venue wins!
While the conservatives have been billing this as a "pro-democracy" rally, I heard it labeled as an anti-coalition rally on the radio last night. I like that because that's what it is. Harper's messaging strategy has been to hijack the word "democracy" and use it the way a comic book super-villain turns on their special powers. Or maybe that's more like the way Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz tapped her shoes 3 times to escape from the bad dream she was having.
